Dear Karen,
Thank you for the interest you and your company have shown me in regards to the customer service position. Regretfully I must ask you to withdraw my name from among the candidates.
Although I found yourself and the human resources facilities to be quite adequate, I was unimpressed by your supervisory hiring staff. I found them to be very unprofessional. And I do not feel that they set an appropriate example of what it takes to become a member of management. However, if you pride your staff in discussing their careers with their previous employers (Providian), or encourage them to talk about up and coming football games during interviews with prospective employees, then these two were really on the ball!
I have interviewed with several other companies, and have accepted a position in the area with more potential. I thank you for your time and wish you lots of blessings in your future.

This letter is alot funnier if you know that - it was written after I had received a declination letter from Bank of America just before I wrote this - and it got their people in trouble because their HR department called me. It was great!
